does anyone know off the top of their head what the lift capacity and breakout force is for the JD 430 loader?

lift cap 1258 pounds, breakout 3299lbs. Lift cap. is really a meaninless number. Do you know anyone who hires a crane to come out with an in line scale to weigh what they want to lift and then calculate what that will equate to moving out form the pivot point, and then say OK my loader is rated for that. No, you try to lift it and if it lifts great. While the 3299 is at the pin, it does refelct poorly on most other loaders on the market if you compare breakouts. More breakout= more usable strength. ....

thanks denwood. I couldn't find the numbers anywhere in the owner's manual! I thought I remembered the breakout being much higher then the lift. ....

At this moment, I don't know if JD 430 still holds the highest position relative to it's size, but for years they did by a wide margin. ....
